The Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Dr. Maikanti Baru, has felicitated with all members of staff of the Corporation on the Eid el-Fitr celebration observed on Friday across the Country.
In a press statement, the Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division of the corporation, Mr. Ndu Ughamadu, stated that Dr. Baru’s message was contained in a wee-hour mail broadcast which the GMD personally forwarded to members of staff wishing them happy celebration.
Assure Nigerians
Dr. Baru also congratulated all staff of the Corporation for restoring sanity in the supply of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), otherwise called petrol, across the nation.
Mr. Ughamadu noted that in the brief, the GMD, Dr. Baru charged the staff of the corporation to continue to work assiduously with a view to achieving the aspirations of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration for the industry.
Dr. Baru also seized the opportunity of the festival to further assure Nigerians that the NNPC would not relent in making the desired contributions to the Country’s economy.
The GMD then thanked Nigerians from all walks of life for their support, adding that he would continue to count on them to curb the challenges faced in the industry especially, pipeline vandalism, amongst other vices.
