Union Bank promotes digital banking services

Union Bank Plc says it has intensified efforts to ensure that its customers enjoy services akin to that of new generation banking system.

As a result, the lender said it would continue to deploy simpler and smarter banking products and services across the country.

The Executive Director, Public Sector, Union Bank, Mr. Ibrahim Kwargana, stated this at the launch of UnionKorrect in Kaduna.

He urged the customers to migrate to mobile and online banking with the bank.

Kwargana added that customers could open a UnionKorrect account with only N5,000 with little or no stress to get documented.

He said, “Our goal is to make banking simpler and smarter for our numerous customers across the country. Restructuring/upgrading of all Union Bank branch locations remains a critical piece of the transformation because it ensures that we are in the right locations and serving the right customers in a functional and professional setting. So far, we have refurbished more than 50 branches across the country, putting into consideration, the behaviour of our customers towards modern banking.”

The executive director also recounted the advantages of the Unionkorrect account, which was officially launched in Kaduna, adding that owners of the account would enjoy numerous benefits with the opportunity to win big.

Explaining further, the Head, Retail Banking, Union Bank, Mr. Carlos Wanderley, said, “We have a limited number of people participating in the UnionKorrect Save Small, Win Big promo in each Union Bank branch and this has dramatically increased the possibility of customers to win cash prizes.”

He promised that the bank would continue to launch simple and smart products to increase the interest of people in bank transactions.
